Herr Edelmann Chanterelles

Grown wild in the forest under deciduous and coniferous trees on sandy soils, picked and selected by hand – Herr Edelmann chanterelles are a real natural product. They are freshly salted to retain their intense, slightly peppery chanterelle flavour, from which this mushroom derives its name.

Chanterelles contain almost no carbohydrates and no fat, but a lot of protein. This makes them ideal for a sensible and balanced diet. Pre-cooked and firm to the bite, they can be processed in exactly the same way as fresh chanterelles, but regardless of the season – so you can enjoy chanterelles all year round. Whether it’s in mushroom sauces, omelettes, game dishes, pasta, slightly browned as a salad topping or as antipasti – they are versatile and tasty in any variety. No wonder that the chanterelle is the most popular mushroom in Germany after the button mushroom.

Herr Edelmann chanterelles do not contain any flavour enhancers, preservatives, colourings or flavourings. They are naturally gluten-free and lactose-free as well as vegan.
